The most feared of the weather seasons has hit Mumbai. I just hope there are no deluges and the city is not bought to a standstill.

For the brave cyclists who take to the roads suring the rains there is no better time to ride your bike. It is amazing to ride your bike on your way to Lonavala or even Igatpuri. If you are willing tp put in the grind of riding up the Ghats !

Probike : 75 years

Probike celebrates 75 years being in the cycling business. And we in India have been the latest addiditon to the ever growing global family of Probike.

Hopefully in 75 years time the Probike India CEO will be writing a blog or broadcasting a Live Video celebrating Probike's 150 years in business in the global cycling Industry.

Our committment to the indian market will only grow and strengthen in the years to come.

Watch out for the new Blade,Elevation & Nomad by Raleigh to be launched very soon in India

Indian Cycling Forums

India is fast turing to a community based cycling country. There are bout 200 odd cycling communities across cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi  Hyderabad

Names such as Powai Riders, Carter Road cyclists , Sobo riders are fast becoming synonymous with Leisure cycling. It is encouraging to see  active cyclists on community forums such as www.cyclists.in and www.bikeszone.com have been active in promoting cycling both as a sport and a leisure activity.

We will be very soon participating in our nd cyclothon after the Mumbai Cyclothon. the next stop is Pune cyclothon!!

Looking forward to ride with the Probike Riders in Pune as well!!

Raleigh Genuine Parts

The Raleigh Genuine Parts only arrived at the warehouse on January 12th and we have already placed our second order with the factories! 

Zip zap Zoom is all i can say for RGP. Thank you customers!

2 months, 30 Dealers & 1600 New Customers

 It has been long since i last updated my blog! I apologise for the inactivity. 

The last 2 months have finally seen the Probike business take baby steps and start trading in India. We have welcomed to the family 30 new cycle dealers, 1800+ new  Raleigh customers across 21 cities in India. 

On behalf of the team at Probike, i would like to thank each one of our dealers and customers who retail our bikes and have bought our bikes. We continue to gather the feedback received from our customers and dealers and are working on incorporating the same in the Probike way of doing business. 

Probike participated in the recently concluded Mumbai Cyclothon. We were a team of 44 cyclists who rode on our Raleigh's and finished the 24km Corporate ride. It was a wonderful event and our cyclists were covered/photographed in DNA newspaper and TV9 which is a reputed TV channel. Our marketing efforts continue with adverts in the Chennai Edition of 'The Hindu' and the Kolhapur City edition of 'Pudhari'

Our heartiest congratulations to 'PARMALE CYCLES' on the opening of their new Exclusive Cycling Gear store in the city of Kolhapur. 

Best of Luck to Abhijit and the entire team at Parmale Group for the success of their new venture. 

It is noteworthy to mention that Abhijit's grandfather was a Shareholder in the erstwhile Raleigh in the 40's and 50's when it was based in the eastern part of India. We are sure that Abhijit will carry on the legacy and be a successful Raleigh dealer in the future.
