Good Morning,
Please find attached a summary of the activities completed and underway.
Warehouse & Logistics:
- Internal Wall painting has been completed
- Internal Electric Lights installation complete
- Office construction work is currently underway. Expected date of completion : 17th September 09
- The Electricity Generator work is still pending. installation by end of this week.
- Contract Staff to be employed at the warehouse : This is work which is still on the To Do List. No progress achieved as of now
- First meeting with the Labour union at the Warehouse has taken place. As soon as I get some clarity on this issue I will update.
Customer Database:
- The following cities have been covered: Mumbai & Pune. The dealers have been approached and based on data we have identified Dealers across Mumbai.
- Pune: Dealers identified and approached
- Scheduled appointments with Dealers in the following cities.
Chennai Bangalore Pondicherry Hyderabad Ahmedabad Delhi
This is just an abstract of the complete email. Adhering to our business policy of 'Step by Step' we have achieved substantial progress in India in the last 2 months. Team Probike India is now on board. I welcome Javed Bangi - Sales Manager & Nazim Shaikh - Warehouse Manager to the Probike family. Both bring with them a desire and capability of establishing the Probike brand in India.
A very senior retail expert once told me ' India comes with its own set of challenges, but once you overcome those challenges sky is the limit'.
Probike India is moving 'Step by Step' towards our goal!!
